1. About xGAS Station

xGAS Station is a non-custodial web application that lets you wrap and unwrap GAS ↔ xGAS on the Neo X blockchain. It is developed and maintained by AxLabs. All token-wrapping operations are executed directly by smart contracts on-chain; xGAS Station never takes custody of your assets.

2. Information We Collect

xGAS Station is designed to minimise data collection. We do not require you to create an account or provide personally identifiable information (PII) to use the service.

2a. Automatically collected data

  • Performance telemetry (Web Vitals): anonymised page-load metrics (e.g. LCP, CLS, TTFB) are collected to help us monitor application health. These contain no PII — query strings and fragments are stripped from route paths before transmission.
  • Error and crash reports: we use Sentry to capture unhandled exceptions. Sentry may collect browser type, OS, and stack traces. It is configured to avoid capturing personal data such as usernames or email addresses.

2b. Wallet and blockchain data

When you connect a wallet, xGAS Station reads your publicly visible on-chain data (wallet address, token balances) solely to render the interface. We do not store your wallet address on any server. All blockchain data — including every transaction you submit — is permanently and publicly visible on Neo X by design.

3. How We Use Information

  • To monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
  • To diagnose and fix bugs reported via error-monitoring tooling.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

xGAS Station integrates the following third-party services that may process data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Sentry — error monitoring. See sentry.io/privacy.
  • Neo X / blockchain RPC providers — your wallet and any configured RPC endpoint will process transaction data per their own terms.
  • Wallet connectors — third-party wallets you choose to connect (e.g. MetaMask, WalletConnect-compatible wallets) operate under their own privacy policies.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

xGAS Station uses browser local storage and session storage only to preserve UI preferences (e.g. dark/light theme). No tracking cookies or advertising identifiers are set.

6. Blockchain Transparency

Blockchain transactions are inherently public and permanent. Every wrap or unwrap operation you perform is recorded on Neo X and is visible to anyone. xGAS Station has no ability to hide, modify, or delete on-chain activity. Do not use this service if you require confidentiality of your token activity.

7. Data Retention

We do not operate a user database. Any telemetry and error-report data retained by Sentry is subject to their retention policies. We do not independently store records linked to individual users.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not hold personal data on our own infrastructure, most data-subject requests (access, deletion, portability) must be directed to the relevant third-party processors listed above. For questions about data processed by AxLabs, contact us at the address below.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

xGAS Station is an experimental decentralised application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • AxLabs and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
  • Smart contract audits, if any, do not constitute a guarantee of security or freedom from loss. You use this product entirely at your own risk.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of xGAS Station after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
